"Footage lost and found"

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Forest/Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: If you ever find yourself getting really pissed off with how many found footage films there are that rely on shaky-cam instead of anything compelling, this is the film you can blame for starting the trend. Then again, like any trend-starter, it is the apex of its class...

History: In the woods of Black Hills, Maryland, there are stories of a malevolent hag known as the Blair Witch. This decrepit hermit is said to drive people insane, and make them kill each other too. Needless to say, she is a notorious urban legend where she comes from. And there are people who really can't help but try and track her down.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Everyone who dares wander into the Blair Witch's territory either dies or is driven to uncurable insanity. The most extreme examples include a person getting snapped in half after a voodoo doll gets it, and her summoning a time paradox so that a person rapidly ages and gets reduced to her mindless servant.

Powers/Abilities: Major occult abilities, as well as invulnerability.

Weakness: None.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-The only thing holding this hag back is that she never oversteps the boundaries of the woods. Aside from that, her cruelty knows no bounds, and she will find you, and she will sap away all of your very being until you're just a wreck for her to finish off.

Trivia: -"Book of Shadows" is not a Blair Witch movie. It. ISN'T. We're not even sure what it is. Creepy ending, though.

-Both this film and its real sequel are notorious for their marketing campaigns. The first created fake documents, interviews, and even entire documentaries to make people believe it was real. More than a decade later, audiences were tricked into thinking that they were getting an original film called "The Woods" previewed to them. The surprise was palpable.

What really happened to them is best left unsaid...

The woods go nuclear tonight.

Hooooo boy. Here we go.

What's this? A new original film with boundless potential?

Forget them not.

Every tree trunk ring tells a tale of shlock here.

PSYCHE!
Remember the lengths they went for this facade.

The realization that the paycheck wasn't worth it.

Even with that fake-out, every inch of wood becomes your enemy.
All that was left for a few days...

Chaos is all this film's good for.

Still a better idea that what the toyline produced. Oh, yeah. That figure exists.
